A vacation in Maldives. Watch it.
A vacation in Maldives. Watch it.
Believe my pain,
Sing with me.
Let us all go to the sea,
Where the horizon meets the sky.
Sun will rise,
The birds will fly,
Red Sun gives reddish glow,
Shells on the shore very much know,
Only day and night causes my pain.
Touched the shells and see them shine.
Sometimes white and sometimes pink,
I cry to the mighty,
With what continuity,
We made this all happen,
They are on the sand,
And they are so happy.
I will come again.
I used to have a friend who was a seafarer. Every vacation his family would go seafaring in a cruise ship to different countries.
As a result of continuous seafaring he would join the school late by atleast a month or sometimes even more.
This used to happen every single year and nobody took any note of the fact that he would join school late after the summer vacations, as it was well known around the school that he and his family was away seafaring to various countries.
Then my school got changed and there too I had a friend who would go seafaring to exotic locations as his hometown was a completely different location. It was most probably in Greece, so by default he had to do a lot of seafaring.
After I grew up, I came to know of a person, who used to be an excellent seafarer. He had a huge estate by the sea in England and as his home was by the sea .He was used to live by the sea, that sea faring became his hobby, his passion and his past time. His skills at sea was marvellous and one thing about any seafarer is that they know how to tie knots and save lives at sea. They are courageous, bold and extremely well trained and most importantly, they are self-trained.
Being a seafarer isn’t as easy as it seems. It’s a hard work and journey sometimes needs to be done alone with the faith being completely on one’s own self.
To be able to climb a tree as much higher as possible is an adventure that one never forgets. From that height to see the hills or the plantain views is a memory that we all cheer for ever. If you ever climbed a tree near a sea side, then you will know what it feels to be a lighthouse. But tree climbing is dangerous and not advisable to each and everyone.
Once, upon a time making a tree top house would be a privilege and honour. Sometimes we would take pastries to eat after climbing a tree and many a time we used to solemnly eat the pastries and didn’t bother about climbing the tree.
Professional tree climbers who climb to bring down mangoes and coconuts from those trees, are very skilled. In places which are outside the city area, trees laden with fruits can be found. Many children learn to climb the tree in the greed for the tasty fruits. Tree climbers also have developed strong calf muscles.
In rainy seasons, small kids feel an utmost need to climb a tree and to sit on a branch. During rains, the tree branches become soft and often crumble, leading to the child getting hurt. Tree climbing is an inspiring sport. Suppose a boy has climbed a tree and his friend hasn’t. He would start gesturing and making face to his friend-“I have climbed the tree, you haven’t, boo-boo, loser”.
Children would climb Mango/Lichi/Guava tree to collect the fruits.
Monkeys climb onto trees with agility and speed and men often try to copy them, but they have forgotten that they themselves have evolved from monkeys.
I would never ever advise tree climbing to anyone. Each and every sports has its own regulations. Always maintain your safety and instead of climbing tree, give that tree a big hug so that it lives for more and more years and basks in your love and care.
A window opens in my mind.My mind is not my heart. But, it feels as if I am seeing through it. The vast and the infinite sea is lashing at its edges and the dolphins are playing a game of riding the sea waves in a group of four. With each bulging sea wave they are taking a dip in the sea and with every emerging one, they are getting ready for the next dip.The seagulls are flying high above the sky and the kingfisher bird is looking for it’s prey. There isn’t a single human being, who is sailing on a boat or surfing, but only the sea and it’s ecosystem is visible.Till now the wind was flowing in it’s beauty, but suddenly, a big gust of wind comes and closes the window. I have to give it a big push to open it again and this time I put the stopper into work to keep the window open and when I look into the sea, I find that the kingfisher has got a fish in it’s beak and it is flying to an unknown destination to have it there. The dolphins aren’t playing anymore. They are simply lulling on the waves as if mother earth is singing them a lullaby and as the sun sets down, the colour of the sea changes from navy blue to light dazzling green and it says goodbye to me and slowly I close the window of my mind, to cherish the lasting vision. One day definitely, the sea shall speak to me and let me onto some of it’s secrets.
Till then, Adios!.,
