Couldn’t You Like Me?

Couldn’t you like me?

What have I done?

I liked you so much,

Then why did you run?

I wanted to play a game of badminton,

To strengthen our bond.

Had you been happy,

You would have prospered,

But that you don’t like me,

So it doesn’t matter that much.

See if you can change your mind,

Better be kind than having a confused mind.

Adios!

Returning Home.

Home I have seen six months back,

Am in a train and it’s on a track,

Pulling me with its own rhythm,

I am home sick now,

Thinking of them.

My son loves cricket and bread and ham.

My wife loves children and the home she runs.

My daughter wants to make her braids,

As those heroines do with all their intricate brain.

The train is pulling very slow,

It is his whim very though.

My bag is full of gifts you know?

My wife knows I have bought something,

For her, But she will never show.

Anyhow, the smell of home, the smell of food,

My wife cooks good,

The cosy chair and my garden own,

I live all there,

I live with my tune.

If you can, please take me there very soon.

I am now insane.

Bless My Pain.

Believe my pain,

Sing with me.

Let us all go to the sea,

Where the horizon meets the sky.

Sun will rise,

The birds will fly,

Red Sun gives reddish glow,

Shells on the shore very much know,

Only day and night causes my pain.

Touched the shells and see them shine.

Sometimes white and sometimes pink,

I cry to the mighty,

With what continuity,

We made this all happen,

They are on the sand,

And they are so happy.

I will come again.

The Lotus Feet.

Garden gnomes
A poem
Lotus

Garden gnomes were playing around,

The grass was green and flowers made sound,

“Hush,Hush see the colour of light,

You take blue, You take pink,I take brown.

Gnomes do not play easy games,

They are tricky, sometime friends.

From top of the hill, God looks upon us,

If he comes down we will surely blush.

He will make us newly made.

Gnomes will ask for many days.

But we will have his feet to shed.”

Basket of Words.

My basket is full of words.

Each one is written on a card.

I picked up one,

Written “Better than”,

The next one was “Die”,

The third one was Oh! It was “love”.

The fourth one was “To”,

The fifth one was eh! It was “lie”,

Mesmerized, I made it like,

Love better than to die.

I closed my basket.

It was enough.

Someone may cry,

If you like it well enough,

Tomorrow again I may try.

Again.
