Music The Greatest Healer.

music heal 1

Music and its genesis is the greatest gift from God, right after parents and right before food. Music comes from Dev Adi Dev-Mahadev, i.e. Lord Shiva. He is the father of music.

Mahadev Himself is the God of everything in all the worlds and with His grace, music itself had received the boon to heal people.

Classical music is revered by all and listening to light and soft classical music can heal a person.

Listening to music is the best way to relieve one’s self. Now a days, mobile phones can hold a great number of songs and listening to your favourite music and song can heal yourself.

People often go to music concerts of their favourite singer or band. They do so because, listening to that particular music, swaying to those beautiful tunes and enjoying those precious moments, leave an ever lasting impression of supreme happiness and joy.

You will often see that children who don’t want to sleep or can’t sleep at the proper time, go to sleep as soon their favourite song is played to them. Mothers often sing a lullaby or a soft song or their child’s favourite song, to make them go to sleep and in a mother’s soft and warm lap, a child falls asleep as in the most comfortable and best place in the whole world.

Music is the best way to heal anything and do give it a try.

Happy Songs are the best, they are the mood churners, mind healers and rest givers.

Singing along with your favourite song is another mode of giving relief to your soul.

Beating aloud a drum in a proper manner, also gives a lot of peace and help.

Playing a beautiful tune on a harmonium and keyboard, gives a feeling of drinking nectar.

Music is Almighty’s grace, blessings and love to humanity and mankind which often ignores the sound of His tune.

Happiness is the only motto in Life.

Happiness is God’s boon to all of us. A smile is all the food that our souls need.  A soul is like a flower and happiness keeps it in place.

A booming laughter can remove all the pain for an everlasting time, though it can cause a bit pain in the stomach.

A baby’s laughter will cause a rippling effect of laughter from each and everyone in the room.

A happy doctor who knows how to be happy, can heal and cure a patient with much more care and with a clear mind.

Students while writing their exam papers often get crushed under the sheer density and magnitude of the questions given and get disturbed, thinking about the number of marks they will be getting, while a student who remains happy and calm can write next paper with much more confidence, grace and durability.

Happiness is like a blooming flower. The more you laugh naturally, the more the laughter will bloom.

Laughter is an endless currency which is given to all by God Almighty. The more you laugh the more your currency expands.

Happiness is not a currency, but it is an endless flow of love from Parvardigar. The more you receive his love, the more you can be happy. All receive his love, but a very few can feel it.

Garden Gnome.

Garden gnome

Garden decorations are a fave these days. Starting right from the garden gnome to ceramic flowers, people are spending a lot of time and price is not a barrier for any good product available in the market.

A big outlet which specializes in garden products, seeds, indoor plants ,outdoor plants, etc., has started selling garden decorations.

I started exploring those decorations but many of them looked shabby and a bit old.

I asked their representative-“Are these garden decorations old?”

Representative-“Yes, sir, they are from our other store and we are selling them at twenty five percent discount.”

I felt disappointed as I would have asked Ma to buy me a nice decoration, provided it be moderate in price.

On the other hand, we had gone there to see if a particular plant was available with them or not and unsurprisingly it wasn’t available there.

We were about to leave from that store when, my eyes fell on a sweet garden gnome, sitting at a corner of a shelf. The gnome was nearly stuffed beside an indoor plant.

It was beautifully painted. It’s pants were painted bright navy blue, shirt was white in colour, it’s cap in shining bright red and it’s beard bright white.

I asked the store representative to show it to me and he brought it out of the shelf and showed it to me. I showed it to Ma and ma too liked it.  We asked the representative, whether it was new or not as the piece looked fresh and new and the gnome was smiling.

The representative replied-“Yes, it has arrived two days back and it costs Rs.3000.”

Hearing the staggering price, we came out of the shop and left for home.

Three thousand rupees for a garden gnome decoration was a very much steep price, but now a days, it doesn’t feel right if something doesn’t cost more than your spending capacity. Everything has to be top notch, high priced and way out of your reach, so that you save pie-pie of your money and as you go to buy that product, it is already extinct by that time.

The garden gnome was truly beautiful, exquisite in style and nice looking decoration, but it was way to heavy budgeted in comparison to my tiny little budget.

Adios and happy gardening!

Extra Dollops of Butter.

This morning Ma was making Laccha Parathas. Laccha Parathas are very delicious to eat, as they are crumbled in circular shapes and then the dough is made into a paratha. Ma was making it with ghee.

Now the ghee has its own distinct taste and smell, which adds aroma to an another degree to the food in which it is being added. Ma made one fluffy Laccha Paratha and gave it to me, so that I could have the paratha fresh and hot with sweet Choondo pickle. I had the paratha and it was very delicious.

As soon as I finished the first paratha, ma served another one on my plate and that paratha tasted even more better. I immediately went to the kitchen and hugged ma. The Laccha Paratha has touched my heart and tummy. Ma smiled and said-“I made the last paratha with white butter, that’s why it tasted so much better and nice.”

I quickly finished my paratha and told ma-“Ma, can I have one more paratha, with extra dollops of butter?”

Ma at that time was frying the paratha and on my asking she added, two tablespoons of white butter to the paratha and after making it, she layered (applied) one side of the paratha with sweet and lime pickle and the other side with sweet Choondo pickle. I had the paratha with happiness, love and with the beauty of Ma’s cooking and I gave Ma a small bite from the paratha and asked her to make the same paratha for dinner also and ma said –“yes, I will make them.”

Hearing such wonderful words from ma, I started dancing around in circles, but as my stomach was full to its brim, I couldn’t do so for long.
