Did You Make Waves?

Did you make waves?

Did you get noticed?

Or did you ride them up and down,

So, that you could feel the coolness of the water?

Did you make waves?

Have you ever appeared in the local newspaper?

Or it’s your dream to make a big splash one day,

And to be featured in the national newspaper?

Or even better,

To be in the limelight of the television world.

Did you make waves?

Now did you ride them?

Then shouldn’t you be happy?

Then why the long face?

Why worry?

Be happy and make a lot of good waves.

The Surprise.

The surprise was very nice.

It was a nice change from everything.

The eateries served nice pastries,

Which they still do,

Once a while.

Some taste like paint,

Some synthetic,

But a gourmet chef made us very happy,

By serving us a cake layered with biscuits.

Each layer of the biscuit was made with different flavours.

One such layer tasted of marmalade.

Another layer of chocolate.

Another one of vanilla.

And the one on the top tasted of butterscotch.

But there the surprise was hidden.

The top most layer was filled with sweet cream.

As soon as we took a bite into it,

The carefully done handiwork of the gourmet chef opened up,

And we were genuinely surprised.

It was a true effort from the chef,

And from the bottom of our heart,

It was appreciated.

Bald As A Coot.

Bald as a coot,

Mr. Joseph went around.

He was laughed at but he didn’t mind.

He kept the best of his spirits,

And had fun each and everywhile.

After a few days,

They made more and more fun,

Until his grandson decided to teach them all a big lesson.

But Mr. Joseph prevented him from doing so,

For he was civilized,

And the others weren’t.

Mind Series-Part 1.

Mind which remembers. Not facts, not series, but happenings. What happens and keeps on going in each and everyone’s life.
This type of people are the most disastrous of all kinds. There are scores and scores of such people available, who do such nonsense work. They can’t do justice with themselves, so they ruin others lives, by chit chatting with people who are unconcerned with the affairs. This leads to the word being spread, which in turn forms rumours. Due to this, people form false opinions of the other person.

Mind which remembers can be used to remember science, social studies and other literature and literary work. Classic books are a source of great happiness, which can help divert one’s mind from these dirty and nonsense works. But people don’t follow it. They are only busy in doing bullshit work, which can ruin other’s life.

A mind which remembers can be used and utilized for doing great work, but nearly all won’t be human if they didn’t indulge in nonsense activities such as rumour mongering and spreading lies.

Adios!

Mind Oh! Mind,

Be kind to remember,

Or it won’t be nice,

In the after years.

Mind Series- Part 2.

Mind is like a pendulum. It swings and it dances to the tunes of others. Oh! He has Mercedes Benz. Then I definitely need to buy an Audi car. Oh! She wears Prada, then I shall wear a much bigger brand. Mind works much faster than a pendulum. Pendulum works at a rate which is in much slower pace and swings in a mid-paced rhythm.

Mind needs this to be bought and that to be worn.

It seems as if one’s whole body exists in one’s mind.

“Do I look nice?’

“Will everyone look at me?”

“Ain’t I the most beautiful?’

“Will someone ask me for a dance?”

“Will I have a boyfriend?”

“Will I have a girlfriend?”

“Will someone steal my heart?”

“Will God’s angels write with me?”

“Will they make my life, a walk in the garden?”

See. The mind works much faster than a computer. It simply needs an object. If it is desirable then, one’s mind starts working like a clockwork to acquire it.

Desire is the biggest enemy of all. Most of the desires, leads to one’s downfall.

Very few desires leads to something good coming out of it.

It is better to have a pendulum clock, than have a mind which acts like it.

Adios!
Mind Oh! Mind.

Please do be kind,

For the days are short,

And the might is wind,

So that all can rest fine.
