Ignorant.

We all are ignorant.

I am blissfully ignorant.

Ignorant of everything.

Ignorant of the stars, the moon, the universe and all of its paraphernalia.

Ignorant of one’s foolishness.

Definitely ignorant of the share market.

Completely ignorant of the beautiful dresses which hang as a bait for buyers in shopping malls, complexes and places.

Ignorant of the changing policies.

Ignorant of the falling and rising prices of the crude oil; vis a vis of dollar.

Ignorant of the complexity of the taxes.

Ignorant of the circus being shown next to my home.

Fully ignorant of a good movie being played at a nearby multiplex.

Commonly,

We all are ignorant of the rest we need,

We all are ignorant of the sleep we need to have.

Ignorant of the fact that food needs to be had on time.

Ignorant of the fact that sometimes we all get lost in the muddle of the world.

Ignorant that its home we all need and not money.

Ignorant of the studies that we all need to do and not to run after degrees.

Look at the old man in the picture. According to me he is the happiest man in the whole world.

When one sleeps peacefully, then he or she sleeps at a level which is beyond the beyond.

My maternal grandfather was such a man.

On the other hand,

I am not ignorant of God’s love.

Had I not been aware of his love,

Then how could I have perceived it?

I am not ignorant of God’s divinity.

Had he been not divine,

Then how would a rose blossom?

Or how could the birds sing?

Even more, how could a parrot talk nearly as fluent as a human?

I am not ignorant of God’s mercy.

Had he been not merciful,

Then each and everyone would have languished and there would have been more and more calamities. Failures in one’s abilities to reach him would be galore. Despite his mercy, most simply touch the surface and come back. Very few are the ones who reach the core.

I am not ignorant of Ma’s love,

She loves me the most.

I am not ignorant of Baba’s love,

He loves me the most.

I am very much not ignorant of the beautiful food that Ma makes for me.

For I have grown stronger and stronger and healthier eating her hand made food and these are all happy memories and still she makes beautiful and wonderful food for me and will continue to do so.

I am not ignorant of Baba’s hardwork, otherwise he would have been able to spend more time with me and ma, instead of giving his sweat, rigorous hardwork and much time to simply earn money.

I am not ignorant of anything which requires hardwork, sincerity and dedication.

Its those complex things such as the bubbling hot air inside one’s hot and humid brain which functions to earn money and to deteriorate one’s own self; that I am ignorant of. Otherwise all’s good.

Ignorance is bliss and bliss is ignorance. Let them be in balance, otherwise both may cut out each other.

We are what we are. It is GOD, the biggest one, who keeps everything moving. Had he been not there, we all would have been playing a lopsided game of football.

A Thought & A Flower.

A thought came to my mind that I should buy a beautiful flower for Ma. Day and night, Ma works very hard to keep me running and at the end of the day, she gets only a few hours rest.

A yellow rose or a white rose it would be. Red roses too are a good choice.

So, one day, I asked the flower man to bring me three roses. One yellow, one white and one red.

(There is a flower man who often delivers flowers around here.)

The next day morning, he brought those three roses and with them he gave me a pink rose for free.

I thanked him and then I wondered if it would have been better to buy a bouquet for Ma, but bouquets require flower selection to be done personally, so I avoided that idea for the moment.

Then, I ordered for a small plum cake and went it came, I gave those flowers and the plum cake to Ma, by saying-“Surprise!”.

Ma was more than overjoyed. She held those roses for a long time and ate little of that cake and gave me a big hug and big kiss too.

Ma arranged those flowers in a vase and in the evening when “Christmas Carol” song was being shown on T.V., we sang along with it and had some more of that cake and kept the rest of it for Baba.

Sometimes a thought, which is plain and simple and beautiful, majestically does wonders.

Whereas a nice and beautiful flower signifies happiness, prosperity and luck. So does a thought. It simply has to be good with the design to be better or to be the best and if possible to be the best of the best of the best.

N.B.-Too many bests. But there is no harm in trying. All’s well that end well.

Everyday.

Everyday we aspire to live.

Everyday we breathe to live, to do so we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon-di-oxide.

Everyday we take bath to feel fresh.

Everyday we write to do justice to our thoughts.

Everyday we read to know about the happenings and occurrings.

Everyday we study to keep ourselves updated.

Everyday we speak to express our wishes and views.

It’s not everyday that a rose sheds it’s petals.

It’s not everyday that a woman becomes a mother.

It’s not everyday that cities are built.

It’s not everyday that Olympics are held.

It’s not everyday that a busy man becomes a doting father.

It’s not everyday that God takes birth.

It’s a long process and so is everyday, simply some “everydays” are shorter and some of them are longer.

If you wish to make your “everyday” golden, simply forget yourself and be happy.

If you are waiting for an “everyday” to become a golden one, then it might or might not be possible.

If you are asking for a golden “everyday”, then be sure that it is already there or you might have missed the bus, since many “everydays” are golden in our daily lives, but we hardly notice.

Everyday is every moment and every moment is life. So live everyday in the “everyday moment” with happiness, cheer and love.

History

Learning history

Hagia Sophia in Istanbul

Taj Mahal In Agra

Learning history is a very fine and big job. Fine because, history contains so many small and vital informations, that sometimes learning ancient history is like losing yourself in a maze.

It’s a big job too, because the job of learning it is tedious, bit monotonous, boring and sometimes exciting, but it is thousand times better than civics and society laws, which are based on the numerous brain frequencies of mankind and human resources.

The art of learning is ancient and the art of learning history is much more ancient.

History learning is full of conflicts as most historians defer on one thing or the other.

Many historians cannot differentiate A from B, yet they write confidently about history which is unknown even to the history makers.

History books are a favourite mode of learning history for children and adults, yet there is nothing as beautiful, authentic and same as learning history by visiting a historical place or monument.

The aura, the awe and the beauty of living and learning history from such places is very much different than learning from books. Instead, it feels like as if all the facts written about that place are true. Our soul within resonates with that place and it all becomes “uno momento” of a lifetime in those few moments. It is a superb experience. That leads to a few moments of exquisite happiness.

Two ancient monuments and places of history which teach us, make us learn history are:-

1.Taj Mahal in Agra, India- If you have never visited this ancient, beautiful and magnificent monument, then you would never know what history means. The monument itself represents history. History of true love, beauty, craftsmanship and time itself.

2.Hagia Sophia in Istanbul in Turkey- It’s another ancient piece of history, which has been destroyed twice and built three times for the better of mankind and it stands today as an excellent symbol and monument of history and people’s love and faith.

Hope you all had fun learning history with me.

Without That!

“Without that” is an important expression. “Without that”, just stop there and think that what you could have done “without that”.

“Without that” pinch of salt in food, your food would be as tasteless as air.

“Without that” school in the locality, all students would have been going to school located a few localities away.

“Without that” game of ludo, the whole afternoon would have been boring.

“Without that” subject of mathematics all pupils in the world would have fared extremely well in examinations.

“Without that” morning bus, many people couldn’t have gone to their work and scores of students most definitely would have bunked school.

A beautiful plumcake, “without that” Christmas is incomplete.

A cosy blanket is very much needed for your bed, “without that” your sleep would be unpleasant.

A baby’s mother is never satisfied, if the baby doesn’t cry. “Without that” cry a baby is incomplete.

If a bouquet is filled with Lilies, Hyacinths, Jasmines and bulbs, but if it doesn’t have Rose in it, then it is incomplete “without that”.

A Bengali menu is incomplete if fish is not present in it. “Without that” delicious plate of fish, a Bengali is very unhappy.

“Without that” scolding from Ma or Baba, how could we all have grown up to be whatever we are?

So, inexplicably, “without that” is not “without that”. It is “what is” with it.

Hope you have experienced “without that”.
