That Evening.

That evening I wrote a story.A story of love, of happiness and of being sober. The story touched my heart, so, I showed it to Ma.

Ma too liked the story.

The story revolved around a young boy and girl who knew they were to be married, yet, they couldn’t become friends with one another. It was the tough time that they had spend together when the time demanded for it, that made them friends.

That evening, I felt happy for I could write a story of something which has some meaning.

Maybe not thousands, but a few could be true friends not in lust, not in greed but in the true spirit of friendship.

The Little Hut.

The little hut which I had seen,

Was nice and beautiful.

It had four small windows and a wooden door.

A family of three do stay there.

They eat bhakri, cooked vegetables, rice and dal as their staple food.

We had once visited them,

And their hospitality was nice and supreme.

They were poor but not of heart.

It gladdened our hearts to see such humanity still in existence.

The Distance So Far.

The distance so far,

Which we have travelled,

Has covered many a miles,

While the roads were painted black and white.

The distance so far,

Has been marvellous and wonderful,

Yet the days are the same,

As the light Sun sets over the horizon and rises again,

It is the same with life.

The cycle is non stop.

The distance so far,

Has been a lesson,

Which we had learnt at the beginning,

Yet, the wordly rules stipulates that they be spoon fed to each and everyone again.

Its the majesty’s grace, love and concern,

Which has kept us going.

Otherwise the things would have stopped beforehand,

Like a clockwork which can’t tell the time,

And stands still like a scene on a television screen.
