The Smaller Boy.

Little Anthony was a small boy,

Who used to ride a bicycle.

His mother had gifted him one,

And for him, it was fun.

Little Anthony,

Would go to the market on the bicycle,

With his mother walking by his side.

There he met a smaller boy,

Who was younger to him,

But had a larger bicycle.

Soon,Anthony was facinated by it,

And asked his mother for a bigger bicycle.

Lily, his mother, gently said no to him

Anthony understood and didn’t ask for it again.

After two years, one day when Anthony returned home,

Lily gave a shout”Surprise” and opened the door for him.

There was a bigger cycle and a cricket set waiting for him.

Anthony was very happy seeing both of his gifts,

And went out to play with them.

But, he has grown up now to the age of thirty,

And has two kids aged four and three,

Yet his old cycle, the one which Lily brought for him first is with him.

He cleans it regularly and has kept a teddy bear on its seat.

Lily is now aged 55,

His dad is aged about 60,

But his first bicycle remains evergreen for him.

What Is Unlimited?

What is unlimited?

Life?

In a sense yes and as well as no.

What is unlimited?

Prosperity, dignity, money or fame?

None of these will last more than a few seconds.

Then what is so?

Out of all the things in this world,

Love and happiness are unlimited.

Being cheerful and happy is the motto of life.

Love which stems from the bottom of your heart,

Will last forever,

As long as you live.

What is unlimited?

Yourself.

Little Jonathan And His Ball.

Little Jonathan is aged four years. He can sing a few songs and he has a ball.

The ball is a singing ball. It can record and play back recorded voices.

The good thing about the ball is that, you can bounce it as much as you want, but its recording and play back ability won’t get destroyed. That’s how it has been made. It can play children songs which are inbuilt into it.

Recently, Jonathan had visited his uncle’s house in Amsterdam and had forgotten his ball there.

Upon reaching his home In Madrid, Spain, he became highly disappointed and constantly pestered his parents for a few days to take him back to Amsterdam, so that he could have his ball back.

His parents assured him that soon they would. For a few days, he checked up with them and then he forgot all about his ball.

Nearly four weeks later, a courier boy came to Jonathan’s door. Jonathan’s mother received the package and it was from her brother, whom she had visited in Amsterdam.

In that courier was Jonathan’s ball and big box of chocolates.

Immediately, she called up her brother and asked that why had he couriered the ball back?

Do you know what his reply was?

“Jonathan’s father asked me to do so. Two days back he called me up and asked me to send the ball back and he has paid for the courier and chocolate box has been sent by me.”

Jonathan’s mother was very surprised. Why would her husband ask the ball back from her brother’s  and pay for a costly courier service?

In the evening when Tim (Jonathan’s father) came back, Patricia ( Jonathan’s mother) asked him that why had he asked for the ball back from her brother. The reason for her asking was that the courier service had costed nearly 200 Euros, believe it or not.

For few minutes, Tim gave vague answers. Patricia become more suspicious. The next morning, she couldn’t find the chocolate box anywhere.

She had searched for it everywhere.

In the afternoon, she found the box of chocolates.

The next day, she found out the reason, why Tim had paid for that costly courier. It was because, he had been fond of that singing ball and when his son was sulking for a few days after coming back home from Amsterdam, he had made his mind to get the ball back for his son. So, he had saved some money from his daily expenses regularly and when enough was saved he paid for the courier service and brought the ball back for his son.

To buy a new singing ball would have been cheaper, but he loved his son’s singing, so he got the original ball back for him.

A Camera Which Can Hardly Record.

There is a camera which my friend Joshua has.He is currently in Romania, touring the country for his office work.

When Joshua was small, his father had given him this camera.

In those days, electronic cameras were in the nascent stage. So, the camera could hold upto twenty pictures in its memory. The camera was used as much extensively as it could be.

For many years, it remained forgotten, but nearly a year back, Joshua found it in his bedroom and began playing with it.

He clicked a lot of pictures with it.The camera being an exquisite one, he clicked nearly a hundred pictures with it.When he tried to check them, he found that the first twenty pictures were only recorded. He got a bit disappointed. The pictures were of his house and not of anything special or of any trip or vacation.

Then he went to a nearby electronic store and bought a cover for the camera.

Few days back, he told me that when anything extraordinary such as an unknown bird flying or a beautifully arranged food dish comes infront of his eyes, he clicks its photo with that camera and then transfers the images to his laptop.

In Romania, he has clicked two pictures of two exquisite birds.

He plans to take not more than four pictures, as he would be busy in his work and would spend less time with his camera for the next few weeks.

Mathew And His Colour Pencil.

A small boy named Mathew had gone to the park with his mother.Few days back she had bought him a set of colour pencils.

Mathew went and sat on a bench. On his lap was his colouring book. His mother Rita was arranging a small picnic for him nearby. He was constantly under her gaze.

He had just finished colouring the leg of the lion when five minutes later a ball came and touched his legs and he got momentarily disturbed and the pencil fell down from his hand onto the bench .

He began colouring and at that moment he felt an extreme pride in the fact that he was colouring a lion.

Mathew gave the ball back to the boy to whom it belonged and started searching for his pencil.

But he couldn’t find it. The pencil had simply disappeared.

Taking his colour pencil set and colouring book in his hand, he ran to his mother.

Rita on seeing him running so fast, took him in her arms and said-“What happened dear?”-

Mathew-“Ma,my colour pencil fell on the bench and I can’t find it anymore.”

Rita took his hand in her hand and went to the bench.

She asked him-“Which colour pencil did you lose?”

Him-“Yellow colour pencil Ma”.

The bench too was yellow in colour and the painting on it was done recently.

His mother searched here and there for the pencil, but she too couldn’t find it.She had searched for it everywhere.Aside, below and above, but couldn’t find it.

Msthew-” Ma, the pencil fell on the bench”.

She couldn’t see an inch of that pencil on the bench.

Then a brilliant idea came to her.She switched on the torch light of her mobile phone and checked every minute long gap in the bench. The bench was old fashioned and it had long minute gaps in it.

At last her torch light shown upon the pencil which was hidden due to being yellow in colour.

When she gave him back the pencil, the joy on Mathew’s face was priceless. He danced up and down with joy and gave his mother a big kiss.

Rita too gave him a big kiss and they both enjoyed their picnic and went home back happily.
