Boy And A Milkman.

A boy and a milkman,

Had gone there to buy bread,

Both of them bought a small packet of bread.

Outside the shop,

There was a tea stall,

And they ordered for tea and had it with the bread they had bought.

The milkman to the boy-“So, how are your days going?”.

The boy-” Fine and yours?”

The milkman-” Business is a bit slow.”

They kept on chatting like this when suddenly the milkman says -“From tomorrow onwards I will charge twenty rupees as delivery charge for every five days.”

The boy-“That’s very high.I will go and tell my mother right now.”.

The milkman-“What can I do? All the costs have gone up.”

The boy-“You can drink milk and be happy, why unnecesarily charge high rates to your customers?”

The milkman-“Is that so?”

And their conversation ended.

Luckily, the milkman didn’t increase the price,

Or his business would have gone kaput.

Material Gain.

Material gain,

Of a bungalow,

Gave a man much pain.

He would constantly be in search of a bigger house.

Ultimately, he bought such a big house,

That it became hard for his wife to upkeep it.

One day tired of his antics,

She spanked him nicely,

First with the broom and then with the rolling pin.

He was planning to buy six more just as vacation bungalow.

For that she gave him six extra spankings.

His whole body was aching with various pain.

He has promised her to shift to a new and smaller house,

And his wife has promised him that if he doesn’t, she has kept the broom ready.

Ties – A Part Of Our Daily Life.

Ties are things of fancy existence.

Though in many facets of jobs and life,

One can see people wearing ties.

The fun begins when a person has to wear a tie as a part of his daily routine.

The process of mechanically tying a tie,

Is meticulous and enjoyable.

After wearing a tie for a day,

You can keep it in a ready to wear mode,

And wear it regularly,

Till the time the knots get disturbed.

Befitting Reply.

Beffiting reply,

To an antagonist,

Creates a situation as ruthless as the antagonist himself.

A protagonist on the other hand,

Forms waves of sucessful ambition,

And hopes,

Some of which maybe true,

But most are based on the expectation that the good will happen,

But good doesn’t come hand in hand.

That is the reason why antagonists gain popularity.

They make so much noise and ruckus,

And that gets them attention.

Victory often silences them,

Yet like a quacking duck,

They keep on nudging and poking,

Everyone and until their mind is satisfied,

They keep on going.

I think they can go without food and water also,

Just to get their dreams fulfilled.

There are times when few antagonists are right as the situation is antagonistic and is being projected in protagonistic light.

A King’s Match.

A king’s match,

Between him and his son,

Was a grand affair.

It felt as if never before had a father and son had played any match.

Now, the royal court,

And the royal gardens were fully decorated,

The match would be divided into two parts- chess and tactical reasoning of warfare.

The two events would be held separately,

And till the time the events got over,

The whole kingdom was to be given a feast.

Now chess went on two days and,

Tactical reasoning was held for seven days.

Many plots of warfare were discussed and at the end both the events were won neat and square by the son.

There was a surprise awaiting everyone.

At the end of the event,

The king coronated his son as the new king.

The celebrations went on for many weeks,

And the new king did justice to his duties,

And the kingdom faired well.
