Are You Absent?

Are You Absent?

Are you absent?

Didn’t you come yesterday?

Where were you today?

Got up early,

Then went to bed?

Why don’t you pick up your phone?

When it rang so long?

Are you still dreaming?

Or are you kidding?

Get up and don’t be absent.

Put on your shoes,

Get ready for work.

It’s a miracle,

That the company car is still outside,

Ready to take you to work.

Be happy and be smiling,

For it’s a day when you won’t be

Marked absent for work.

When Love.

When love is laughter,

We are in spree.

When love is asking,

We try to fulfill thee.

We feel anxious,

Do you still love me?

When you say yes to love,

It is not true.

When you feel love and feel it in your heart,

It is said to be true.

This true love takes us where we left us alone.

It takes us through the parameters,

It makes us love,

Which is now full known.

I Met The Sun.

This morning,

I met the Sun,

He came near my hands,

I filled my palms with all his colours and kissed my own palms.

The sun asked-“What in returns?”

I said- tea or coffee or maths, stay here,

Please till I drink my milk full of glass.

The Sun nodded,

I felt joy.

I gave him my own soul.

He nourished me as he ever does,

Whenever I feel very cold.

He remained with me all the day,

But very busy looking alone,

At the dusk he said bye,

You will find me in the moon.

When moon rose, I could see the Sun.

As he promised as never gone.

I laughed at him,

He laughed at me too.

The next morning,

My friend Sun came,

My little dear, how do you do?

My Food And Your Nod.

I went to hell with jam and bread.

I offered everybody.

They said-“Only this?”

I said-“Feel the bliss.”

It is full of flavour,

Full of glee,

Can’t you feel?

That you love me?

If you love me,

Then you must eat.

Otherwise I will go and never retreat.

What do you want?

Roast and meat?

Make your mind for jam and bread,

By hen’s grace we will get omelette,

Be there and feel the good hearth glow.

Which only you can lit with your own instinct.

And the passion and love,

For the creation will start.

You will feel joyful and even will eat the tart.

Then come to me with your food,

As I have come today,

Which you didn’t say “good”.

That day we will share and have food.

Sing and dance in a cheerful mood.

You will be able,

To stop any crisis,

With all hands together,

Will make one fist,

Up it will go and

We will say,

“We love you God, here you come may.”

My Bread.

Bread with omelette and bread with cheese.

Some greens in between it’s sandwich.

Since man made bread,

I ate them up,

I don’t know,

When I will stop.

I am foodie,

In any mood,

Honey and jam and butter scoop,

On my bread,

Oh! It’s so yum,

I do not bother.

If anybody shun,

Looks at it,

With intended pun,

I offer the same,

As they too enjoy,

But it’s all mine.

I dance as a bottle full of wine.

I love my bread,

I love the smell.

Have it anytime,

To tell a tale.
