Mind Series- Part 2.

Mind is like a pendulum. It swings and it dances to the tunes of others. Oh! He has Mercedes Benz. Then I definitely need to buy an Audi car. Oh! She wears Prada, then I shall wear a much bigger brand. Mind works much faster than a pendulum. Pendulum works at a rate which is in much slower pace and swings in a mid-paced rhythm.

Mind needs this to be bought and that to be worn.

It seems as if one’s whole body exists in one’s mind.

“Do I look nice?’

“Will everyone look at me?”

“Ain’t I the most beautiful?’

“Will someone ask me for a dance?”

“Will I have a boyfriend?”

“Will I have a girlfriend?”

“Will someone steal my heart?”

“Will God’s angels write with me?”

“Will they make my life, a walk in the garden?”

See. The mind works much faster than a computer. It simply needs an object. If it is desirable then, one’s mind starts working like a clockwork to acquire it.

Desire is the biggest enemy of all. Most of the desires, leads to one’s downfall.

Very few desires leads to something good coming out of it.

It is better to have a pendulum clock, than have a mind which acts like it.

Adios!
Mind Oh! Mind.

Please do be kind,

For the days are short,

And the might is wind,

So that all can rest fine.

Mind Series-Part 3.

Mind can’t stay satisfied with a single thing. It needs this and that. Give me this. Give me that.

One mobile isn’t enough. Give me the latest one. 6GB Ram and 128 GB Memory. Anything less than that is a waste of my time. It’s a prestige issue.

How many times have you said these words? Or have heard this from your kids?

Ma today can I have Nachos and dips?

Ma today can I have a bike?

Baba, today, can I have four thousand Euros?

Their demands rise above the sky, touch the zenith of the universe and drop down again.

Mind is that fidgety object which cannot be cooled even if you pour thousands and thousands of litres of cold water on it.

A hot head is always a recipe for disaster. A greedy mind is a readymade machine for never ending desire.

Borrowing money from friends is another trend which has been picking up a lot of pace and then denying it. There are many things which keep on going under the teenage bellies.

Mind is better focused on studies, on learning music, on creating objects, on learning new things which are good.

Mind can be catapulted into doing things which is against one’s wish, but if you keep it in check then you shall definitely, be the master or semi master of it.

Adios!

Oh! Mind, Oh! Mind,

Please be cool and kind.

Let it never go astray, For then it won’t remain mine.

We Saw The Sunlight Through The Lens.

We saw the sunlight through the lens,

It looked bright,

But didn’t smile.

The sun was radiant,

But it didn’t mind.

We focused the lens,

Straightened our camera,

Yet the sun didn’t smile,

The moment we removed the lens,

And saw it with our eyes,

The sun gave us a big smile,

And our jubilance was infinite.

Adios!

Simply You Have Called Me.

Rose and Prose

Simply you have called me.

Simply you have smiled.

It’s roses and proses,

But it is all unworthwhile.

What of the roses,

For they are old.

And the proses are synchronised,

And they rain word made of gold.

Simply you have called me,

For the day is over,

It’s time for rest,

So,please do sleep,

And let the rest of the night be over.

Adios!

Zink The Parakeet.

ZInk The Parakeet.

Zink the parakeet of the legendary group of (Zink, Tink, Lion and fiery) is in secondary school, where he has already progressed much faster than the other parakeets. Seeing his brilliance and extreme progress, his school’s principal Sir Ink, has decided to send him for a special competition, which would enable him to get a huge scholarship for his future studies. But two days before the competition, Zink started crying that he wouldn’t go for the competition.

So, the principal called his parents to inform them about Zink’s peculiar behaviour. It turned out that the period between which the special competition was to be held, there was an inter school flying competition to be held. The winner would be awarded by the Parakeet King a cash prize seven thousand gold coins would be given.

Zink was a member of the Parakeet King’s task force too, and this whole matter was referred to him.

The King upon hearing the whole thing, gave the order for the inter school competition to be held after Zink came back from the special competition.

Sir Ink the Principal parakeet, protested that by doing so, all the schedules of the two schools would go haywire, but his protest was subsided by a stern look from the king.

Zink went for the special competition and won the first prize, which gave him a big boost, while in the inter school flying competition he came second, and was awarded four thousand gold coins by the King. He has now been promoted to the post Deputy-Lieutenant in the King’s Task Force.

These days he is a very happy Parakeet, and has his shiny new badge glowing upon his belt always.

His friends Tink, Fry, Fiery and Lion are proud of him.

So are his parents.

Adios!
