They offer free things,

Mega discounts.

They make believe that anything worth them,

Are worth it.

But if looked upon carefully,

One could see that the thing “free”,

Or the discount is already covered in the price.

The positive side is that sometimes in comparison with other shops, they do offer marginal discounts.

While, the negative side of it, is known by all that it leads to serious binging in shopping.

All the while, free coupons have existed for many years,

And with each passing day they seem to make up more of the market.

Coupons or no coupons,

Do buy a red rose,

A small pen,

A cone of vanilla ice cream.

A notebook to jot down your memories.

To prove that an inch of humanity still exists.

An elephant wrote me a letter.

He asked-“Do you remember me?

We met last summer.

It was great fun.

We had few bananas together.

Do you remember that morning?

The sun was very bright,

And everything seemed magical.

Few are such sunshines,

Which are ever lasting.

Now they have added a few enclosures,

In the zoo,

For the animals are new and of different species.

Do visit me again,

We shall play together,

With a much bigger ball.

I will trumpet aloud,

And say aloud- Hip-Hip-Hooray.

For all the fun to begin,

And for all the fun to remain,

I am waiting for your reply.

See the river is blue,

Blue is the sky.

Blue is the mountain.

Blue is my favourite.

The dark blue sea calls me.

Its waves have played with me.

It has a greenish tinge.

Many times, I was on a cruise.

It calls me to say,

That world has changed

It is safer than before.

Blue are the macaws.

They eat their chosen fruit.

Blue are my dreams.

When I write my thoughts.

Blue berries are my favourite with boiled eggs.

Indigo crystals, cause me triumph.

Now a days, they colour their hair blue,

But the blue feather of any peacock,

Is different than any other blue.

Blue is my watch dial.

It gives me time true.

I love blue.

Are you purely pure from your heart?

If yes, then go and wash your face.

For you are lying,

With everything that you have,

Including your “self”.

But that ain’t all.

Heart is such a beautiful thing,

Which connects us with everything beautiful, nice and good.

It sometimes even attracts to things which are not desirable.

But it touches our base with Lord himself.

Only he can make you purely pure of the heart.

So, don’t worry,

Instead be truthful and happy.

Do you eat your hair?

Do you comb your teeth?

Do you hear novels?

Do you drive with your legs?

Do you roast your bosses’ order?

Do you sleep upon concrete?

Do you think why I haven’t paid my taxes?

Do you fly in a train?

Most mad days,

Can you see with your nose?

Can you write with your back?

Can you juggle with your eyebrows?

Can you sing an opera?

If you can’t do most of these things,

Then your day ain’t mad.

Otherwise,

You need to check into loony asylum.
