Talk Him Away.

Talk Him Away,

I don’t want to learn any more,

Shouted the parrot.

That’s what the parrot had learnt to speak,

From a little boy who wouldn’t study anything from the new teacher.

The boy used to shout-“Talk him away,

I don’t want to learn anymore”.

His parents were anguished with him,

And they became more disturbed when the parrot too would start screaming,

Well two weeks they kept the parrot in another room and surprisingly,

The boy would be less disturbed,

And his teacher wouldn’t split his hair anymore.

Frostful Nights And Eh…….Mornings Too.

white feathers illustration

At a night in winter time,

In a big city, frost was playing spoilsport all along the nights.

Many families wanting to make preparation for the upcoming Christmas eve were left rummaging their minds,

That how the hell, could they prepare for Christmas if frost occurs everytime!

They prayed hard to Jesus for help,

But Lord couldn’t do anything.

Everyone felt helpless.

The mornings too were frosty,

But despite the frost, people somehow managed to go to work.

And when they came home,

Frost would not only affect their body, but their minds.

Their physical and mental afflictions would be frozen as tightly as molecules in a solid particle.

Well, at last all the prayers to Jesus came through and just before Christmas eve,

Frost stopped occuring,

And it was indeed a Merry Christmas for all.

But the new year was much more frostier.

A Tin Of Sardines.

A tin of sardines bought with much gusto,

In a bid to try out the packed sardines.

To tell you the truth,

It wasn’t so great,

As the sardines were bit old,

And we don’t have much of it (as a staple food),

So it wasn’t a big hulaboo.

But we had Hilsa fish,

The next day,

And that dish we enjoyed a lot,

Hilsa fish prepared with mustard,

Tastes excellently wonderful.

Do have it once.

A Merry Doll.

A merry doll,

Who had a funny face,

And lopsided hair.

When its back button was pressed,

It would say-“Good morning, how are you?”

It was a marvel for many kids,

And many came to play with it,

Yet the merry doll wasn’t damaged even a bit,

And at each of its birthday the merry doll was gifted a new dress and tiny false hair.

I guess that it made the doll very happy.

Few toys become an integral part of our life.

Big Wink.

A big wink,

From a small child,

Who wanted a lollipop candy.

His parents wouldn’t buy it for him,

And he kept on asking.

At last he winked and said,-“Ma don’t buy me a candy,

Instead get me a toy car”.

That was enough.

The mother immediately took the child in her arms and straight they went home.

He shouldn’t have asked for the toy car.

Maybe luck would have favoured him,

And his wish for the candy would have come true.
