Spring Has Come.

Spring Has Come,

Oh! How very fine.

Flowers will bloom,

Mustard fields will be full of yellow shine.

Spring has come,

Kites will be flown,

Trees will swing with happiness.

All will say,

“It’s springtime, it’s springtime.”

Spring has come,

So have the exotic birds.

Bird watchers are gathering at such places,

Where migratory birds come and

They look very grand and extremely fine.

Spring has come,

So have the holidays,

But before that exams have to be given,

Without which students can’t say,

“Hip, Hip, Hooray.”

Spring time is a beautiful time,

Which we all like.

It is the time of festivals,

Of happiness and of sheer Joy.

Springtime has come,

So it has.

The Nose Ring.

A woman had lost her nose ring. It was her grandmother’s. She searched it everywhere, but couldn’t find it anywhere. In her office, at her home and at each and every place which she could think of.

At last she told her mother that she had lost the ring. Her mother replied-“I know.”

Woman-“How could you know Ma?”

Her mother-“For the past two days, you aren’t wearing your nose ring and you never let them out of your sight.”

Woman-“Ma, please help me find them.”

Her mother-“No need.”

Woman-“What do you mean no need?”

Her mother-“It is right in front of my eye.”

Woman was bewildered. She looked here and there, but couldn’t find it.

Woman-“Ma where is it? Please tell me.”

Her mother simply held aloft the gold chain which her daughter was wearing. Her daughter looked at it. There behind the pendant was the nose ring dangling like a pendulum.

Woman-“Ma you are God, I searched everywhere but I couldn’t find it.”

Her mother-“That’s why I am your mother.

The daughter hugged her mother and went to her office happily but this time the nose ring was placed firmly on her nose.

Without Spending A Dime.

Without spending a dime,

I got a few rolls.

The shopkeeper turned out to be my friend.

I thanked him,

Tipped my hat to him.

Told him-“Friend, please come to my shop,

And give me the opportunity to serve you.”

He came and bought two packs of eggs.

I said-“Those are for free. The real surprise awaits you.”

I took him to my home,

We had a sumptuous dinner and

He had the best of his time.
