A decade old friend,
Came into my sight.
I waved my hands,
From far and said hi,
He remained still,
Confused, perphaps he didn’t recognize,
Yet he was my decade old friend.

A Boy’s Diary.

A boy’s diary,
Found in the attic,
Were a memoir of the past.
It was simply more than few pages of writing.
His whole childhood was captured in it.
The boy to whom that diary belonged,
Is now a doctor and was more than glad,
To have got it back.
His niece found it for him,
And he spent hours laughing and crying,
While those pages reminded himof those beautiful days.
