My Nest In Rain.

My nest is high up in the Banyan tree.

It’s raining here and I am completely wet,

And the gusty wind is blowing.

I am scared about my nest.

I could not give it much support.

Before that I had to lay eggs.

Chicks are also maybe scared.

Today, I picked two- three sticks for my nest.

But I couldn’t clutch it in the heavy storm.

I am sitting at your window sill.

You are looking at me.

Feeling bad,

You are thinking, maybe with a dry towel,

You soak my water and give me some relief.

But you know?

God is standing here to take me to my nest.

Only he is waiting for the drizzle to stop.

People are also running helter-skelter.

The evening and the dark cover is also coming down.

Neon lights are lit on the streets.

From your window, I can fly till the next building.

Then for some time in the air,

To the nearby garage which they had newly made.

There I might have to stay for sometime.

Next I will fly to my nest.

I will carry this biscuit and bread for the supper.

And I will feed my chicks with them.

The Lord will watch on us.

I and my family will go to rest.

Morning, I hope, I will get some time to collect fresh food for my children.

There are men, who drop a lot of food.

If the day is bright,

It is fine.

Otherwise,

I will watch the rain from my nest.

His Own Will.

His own will,

Is his own.

It’s as flamboyant as him.

He doesn’t bother about anything,

Nor does his will.

The only thing which matters to him is goodwill,

Goodwork and justice.

But the things which he likes,

Has made him more stubborn.

Afterall it’s his will.

His own will.

Sometimes, one’s own will and askings,

Often show two roads.

One leads to the right thing direction and the other to the wrong one.

Which to select,

One knows very well.

Look carefully and you will see a difference between his own will and his will.

The difference would astonish you.

A For Two.

A for two.

A ball which doesn’t bounce a lot,

But often falls,

Is for two.

The letter A,

Which starts the alphabet,

Is a beautiful beginning to it.

Two brothers,

Small or big,

Doesn’t matter,

Share that ball often.

The ball is named A.

They call it A,

As it often helps them to start their day.

Their day begins when their school gets over.

Then it’s their time for A.

A for two,

And that’s very nice to know.

A Pie For Dinner.

A big pineapple-vanilla cream pie.

Ain’t it sufficient for dinner?

Dinner must be light,

So say the old people,

But it shouldn’t so light that one flies up in the air.

A pie for dinner is a brilliant plan.

It’s like wearing a tie to a seminar.

So have a pineapple-vanilla cream for dinner,

While thinking that isn’t God the most merciful.

Hadn’t it been his mercy,

Would pies had been invented?
