A Scenic Writer.

A scenic writer,

Found a beautiful place,

To gaze upon.

He dreamed of writing his best seller over there,

And indeed, he did so.

The scenery made him gleeful,

Full of ecstasy.

He jumped,

He danced,

He roved above the ground,

For it was him,

In his high.

A scenic writer,

Made his vision,

Into reality.

A Witty Man.

A witty man,

Bought a corn stick,

Intending to have it on his way to home.

He kept it in his coat’s pocket.

As soon as he reached home,

He saw that his wife was angry with him.

He tried to make peace with her,

Yet she wouldn’t budge.

At last, he said-“ See my dear what have I  bought for you.”

And he presented her with the corn stick.

His wife saw that stick and took it and banged it on his head.

He said -Oh no my dear, it had a diamond ring in it.”

His wife immediately got up and scrambled for the corn stick and picked it up,

And started searching for it.

She couldn’t find it.

His wife-“Where is the diamond ring?”

He-“Oh! It must have fallen off, when you threw the corn stick on the ground”.

His wife frantically searched for the ring here and there, yet she couldn’t find it.

Perspiring, the wife picked up the corn stick, the woman began eating the corn kernels

in desperation, that’s when the man began laughing.

His wife-“Why are you laughing?”

Him-“Because, there was no diamond in it”.

His wife-“What!?”

“Yes, only a plain corn stick brought for my hungry stomach.”

The wife threw the corn stick at her husband, and catching it the husband said-“But it

had the diamond of my love.”

The wife’s nostrils began flaring up, but her husband calmed her down saying-

“Don’t worry dear, diamonds are worthless, only love is real. Now I am very hungry, can I

have this corn stick with peace, seeing that today you won’t be preparing any meal.”

His wife-“MEAL IS PREPARED.”

Him-“Atleast, I hope there won’t be any diamonds in it.”

Hearing these words the angry wife smiled, and all was well again.

An Awe-Inspiring Feat.

An awe inspiring feat,

Of fairies and magic,

Of love and belief,

Of smiles and hoorays.

An awe inspiring feat,

Just doesn’t mean achieving a big thing.

Sometimes things which occur to be bogus,

Also turn to be gold.

Let me tell you of such a feat.

A boy in the forest,

Was picking up berries.

When he met a small pup.

He took the pup home.

Many years later that dog,

Once saved him when he was drowning in a pool.

Now you would ask,

What’s the big feat in here?

That boy became a man,

And his son, became the king of the entire country,

Through his valour, honesty and dedication.

And the dog was their companion throughout.

The dog turned out to be the fairy queen,

Who was entrapped by an evil wizard,

And the king’s son,

Was the one who could free her,

And once the fairy queen regained her kingdom,

She bestowed many blessings on that whole region,

And the three generations,

Of the boy who had rescued her, his son and his grandson,

Were granted the boon of immortality by her.

A Farce Called “Love”

A farce called “love”,

Which makes a baby smile,

Which washes all the pain,

Which brings on that sleep,

Which nothing else can.

A farce called “love”,

Which connects the world to eternity,

Which strings the heart of a wife to her husband and vice versa,

Which brings together a family,

Which lights up that happiness,

Which even money can’t buy,

Yet, is it a farce?

I Don’t Care For Anybody Except You.

I don’t care for anybody except you,

For you are my soul,

For you are my love.

Such big-big words,

Shan’t become a farce.

It’s as bright as the sunlight,

It’s as brilliant as a rose.

It’s my speech which shall make you cry,

And my work shall make you laugh.

You are the world,

Of love,

Of happiness,

Of sheer melody,

You are that morning which everyone thinks of dreaming of.

You are that beauty,

That charm,

That prosperity,

That luck,

That big thing,

Which is mine and shall be mine.
