Ah! The Rain Has Just Begun.

Ah! The rain has just begun.

It will fill the roads with splashing water.

It will make a mess of everything,

Yet, it is the most fun thing which has ever been done.

Ah! The rain has just begun.

Now the puddles,

Would be filled with muddy water.

So, would be the terrains.

The day has just beautified,

Like the homecoming of the sun, the moon and the rain.

Ah! The rain has just begun,

With a lot of thunder,

It’s a beautiful gesture on nature’s part,

To bring it asunder.

Would You Sleep This Afternoon?

The Sleepy Dog.
(Would You SLeep This Afternoon?)

Would you sleep this afternoon?

Look out of your window.

See the masons working hard atop a high-rise building.

They are applying concrete on the bricks,

So that the building is made.

See the painters painting the exterior of the building.

See the people walking across the street.

They are busy and they indeed hope that they can reach their destination fast enough.

Would you sleep this afternoon?

And miss all the fun?

The fun which creates the world,

The fun which makes it go all around.

Would you sleep this afternoon?

And sleep off the chance to prepare for a lavishly nice and healthy dinner?

Would you sleep this afternoon?

Or rather would you make more and more beautiful painting?

Would you see this afternoon?

When there are so many things to do,

Like reading the newspaper and making a bucket list anew.

The Night Woke Me Up.

The night woke me up.

It asked me to look outside.

The rain was splattering non stop,

Without any mercy or without any thought.

The night woke up,

And asked me to feel the breeze.

It was cold,

It was silent,

And it remained far unseen.

The night woke me up.

It said-“Open your eyes my dear.

I am night, the one and only,

And come close and be near.”

I replied-“Thank you dear night, for remembering me.

I am just fine where I am. In my cosy bed.

So, let it be.Take care of all the children wherever they are”

The night replied-“ The moon is shining very bright,  the stars are glittering.

Oh! My friend, the views which I have seen takes me to a realm which is not very near.”

I –“Oh! Night, please, it has been a while. Please let me sleep,

For it is much dearer to me, than a call to watch you (the night)
pass,

As you are a time to rest, than to be kept awake, like owls who hoot, for they love you.”

Night-“Then go back to sleep. I wouldn’t disturb you anymore,

It’s my duty to stay awake, as the day comes nearer and nearer.”

I went back to sleep,

Night, also went back to its post.

When I woke up, it was early in the morning,

For the sun was shining as a hero who flexes his biceps and triceps wide and afar.

Having Danced Eighteen Times.

Having danced eighteen times,

He made his teacher bored.

His colleagues,

His friends

All went outdoors.

He called out to his parents,

And asked them to watch him perform.

They flatly refused,

For they had work to be done.

Having danced eighteen times,

And even more,

He finally grew tired.

He went home,

And took a fresh bath.

And slept for straight eighteen hours.

Adios!

N.B.- But he passed his dancing exams with flying colours.

Have Bathed Seven Times.

Tim has bathed seven times.

He was perspiring and was covered in thick mud from head to toe.

Yet couldn’t stop playing football.

Then his mother got hold of him.

And made him take a bath.

She asked him to bath properly,

Till all the dirt went out from his body.

But he tried to cheat her,

And escaped from bathing,

But at last his dad came and he had to take seven baths,

To get rid of every dirt.

Now he is wary of playing football and of bathing!
