A Rare Occurrence At Yosemite Falls.

For the past two days, a rare occurrence has been taking place at Yosemite falls, in Yosemite National Park.

This phenomenon happens when the sunlight hits the cold icy water of the falls and the water, snow and the cold vapours emitting from the continuous flow of snowy water turns into golden yellow in colour for a short period of time when Sunlight falls upon it. It is a natural phenomenon, whose sightings are rare.

The hitting of the Sunlight on the perfect spot so that the natural occurrence can take place is completely dependent on luck.Often it resembles the lava flowing in a volcano. It is also known as firefall.
