The Fat Lady Who Sings.

The fat lady who sings.

The fat lady who sings,

Wears a big ring.

The ring,

Has a diamond,

Which is worthless,

It has a ruby,

Which is of little worth,

It has a small carving inside it,

Which says-“From little Mariam”.

Mariam is the daughter of the “fat lady who sings”

But now stays far away,

And many times in the songs of the fat lady,

Her daughter Mariam is mentioned,

Who visits her once in two or three years.

The heart of the fat lady aches for her daughter.

But, she knows and remembers the old days,

In her songs.

Love.

Love is not bound by destiny.

Neither is it bound by desires.

Love is more than being unconditional.

It is not cheeky,

It doesn’t go by lust.

Love is not free.

For anything free,

Brews up a question?

“Indeed! Why is it free?”

Love is more than God.

Love is that natural sleep,

Which washes away all of your pain,

Your inner sadness,

And takes into that world whose key,

Is with no one.

Not even with God.

That’s why he says-“love me.”

Love is inexplicable.

It is unspeakable.

It is. It is. And it is.

It is that mojo,

Which runs your ship,

Even when the ship is broken and the fuel is gone.

It can pull you away from the deepest of the dungeons,

Into the nest of warmth, love and care.

It brings you home.

A Pattern Asked Me.

A pattern asked me,

“Can I weave a story?”

I replied-“Yes, you can. There’s nothing to stop you.”

“But I can’t find any story line. The designs are all confusing.”

I-“Weave a flower,

Weave a bird,

Weave a lily,

Let’s tide for a said word.

Weave a scent,

Whose fragrance shall last long enough.”

“I can weave such things.

I shall weave a lily first.

Then a rose.

Let me get to work,

For a pattern must set together,

Leave a permanent feature,

Which shall last more than the universe.”

The Beautiful Graphics.

The beautiful graphics

Were not for her.

The beautiful graphics,

Were not for the cake.

The beautiful graphics,

Had to be curated.

The beautiful graphics,

Were truly beautiful,

As it had majesty,

Love and kindness.

The beautiful graphics,

Were an artist’s true mark,

For any art isn’t without an artist,

An artist isn’t without art.
