Is famous for one’s sleep.
It is famous,
For one one’s rest.
It is beautiful and marvellous,
Until and unless,
Your little one,
Doesn’t wet your bed.

When I told you,
To think about the sums,
Then you didn’t.
When I told you,
To think about the beginning of the poem,
You said-“Oh! I am busy.”
When I told you,
Let’s go for drive,
You said-“I am sleeping.”
When I told you,
Go the distance,
You thought that it is meaningless.
When I told you,
To work from your heart,
You did and you succeeded.
When I told you,
Atlast you listened.

Is It Raining?
Is it raining?
Did you shut down the windows,
Or have you kept them open?
Have you ordered for the corn on cob?
Are you there or not?
Or have you gone out?
To play out in the rain,
Without asking for an umbrella,
Well don’t go sneezing,
For if it’s raining,
Then won’t we play out in it again?

Idea Of Posting A Letter.
Idea of posting a letter,
Came into a boy’s mind.
He immediately wrote a letter,
To his sister in a far off country,
Bought the stamps,
Paid for the postage,
With his pocket money,
And posted the letter.
His sister was unaware,
That her brother had posted a letter.
When it reached her,
After a month,
Tears and streams of tears,
Flowed out of her eyes,
And she couldn’t bring herself to write a letter to her brother,
Whom, once upon a time,
She used to feed,
Clothe, cuddle and love.
Astonishing isn’t it?
The idea of
posting a letter…………..

Covered In Dust.
Covered in dust,
Is an old figurine,
Brought by my maternal grandfather.
He had given it to my mother and said-“Keep it safely.”
Now that figurine is old,
And often needs much care.
It is heritage,
Which makes it glow,
And love, which cares for it.
