A face called out to me.
It wasn’t known to me.
It was completely unknown.
The face smiled,
But then it vanished.
I didn’t search for it.
Few days later,
It again came infront of me,
And it said goodbye.
I was surprised,
Who would it be?
Adios!
A face called out to me.
It wasn’t known to me.
It was completely unknown.
The face smiled,
But then it vanished.
I didn’t search for it.
Few days later,
It again came infront of me,
And it said goodbye.
I was surprised,
Who would it be?
Adios!

I saw the moonlight.
It wasn’t scintillating.
Neither did it glow much.
Yet, it’s radiance reached me.
I didn’t feel mesmerized,
Nor did a song come rushing out.
But all the way,
The light reached the earth’s surface.
Even the fishes in the pond,
Avoided it.
Still the pond’s surface glittered like a new bright object.
The birds had gone to sleep,
And the dogs, cats, goats and sheep all closed their eyes,
And sleep came.
When everyone opened their eyes it was morning.
The sun was already on its way to the zenith.
But I saw the moonlight.
Adios!
The beach is completely smoky, smogy and grey.
Passing by it feels a delay in making what maybe called a veil.
But you know, if the veil is gone,
It is the sea and the bay.
Completely amazed now.A mixture of rain and hope. Foam and water.Fish and antelope?
Nope.It is not Africa.
But might be the same with the African sea.
Sand and galore of water.
The fishermen are away.
Actually they are the dots on the horizon or near the bay.
Adios!
They have put a big photo of his on the wall.
Everyday I come and have my share of sugar, candies, sweetmeat from the plate infront of his photo.
He never cares or says no.
One day a dozen of sweet banana and incense sticks were kept.No sugar. I waited underneath the platform.
Nope.
None came.
His photo told me “I am God . Today you go to the kitchen and fetch your food.”
I went running and saw the sugar container is slant and the lid was not kept properly.
I got my food.Thank you God.
I am a big black ant.
Adiis!
A pistachio was is in Jonathan’s pocket. He was completely unaware of it.
He had finished his homework and was now going to his friend Lily’s home. Soon a bird started following him. He ignored it. But the bird didn’t. It went after him till Lily’s house and settled on the roof.
When he came out the bird followed him till his own house.
Jonathan didn’t think much of it. The bird made a low sound -“tnew, tnew”.
Jonathan looked at it and jerked his head, as if asking it, that what did it want?

The bird sat quietly on the letter box.
Jonathan looked at it for a while and casually put his hands into his pockets and found a pistachio in it.
He brought it out and threw it to the bird..
The bird caught it in a swift motion and gobbled it up.

Jonathan went the front of his house and looked back. The bird had flown away.
He was very surprised. Before going to bed, he told his mother all about it and she asked him to not bother much about it.She kissed him and told him to sleep nicely in his snuggly and warm pillow and blanket.
The next morning they met again.
Adios!
