The rain is
playing,
The game of
cat and mouse with us,
The simple
men.
In the
beauty of the early morning sunshine,
Few boys
played some games,
They played
gilly-danda, cricket and football.
Then again
came the rain,
And all
went to their homes,
Without any
wait.
All the
day,
They played
in and around their house,
Waiting for
the rain to abate.
It was a
play day.
The schools
are about to begin.
When I was
small,
I would
enjoy each and every day before the school,
Now those
days are gone.
It’s a
relief.
That’s that
and let us play,
Aren’t they
good?
That in
them we do belief.
Adios!
