Have you ever heard this line before? This line is spoken by a batsman, who has come down to bat, to the umpire.Whenever a batsman, comes to bat you can see that they mark one particular spot in front the leg stump. In cricket when the bowler starts balling, the off stump and the mid wicket must be visible to him, so for that reason batsmen always take a leg stump stance and before they start batting, they call out to the umpire, addressing him as “sir” with respect,asking him whether they are at the right spot or not.If not, then they are guided by the umpire, who signals with his hands, whether to move right or left. Zillions watch cricket, but I think very few of them know about this.Now how’s that huh?

Lemon’s price skyrockets-eight rupees a piece
In this summer season, to beat the raising temperatures, what do people do? They have lemon juice or sweet lemon sherbet. But nowadays lemon prices are increasing with the rising temperatures. Lemons which I usually get three pieces for ten rupees, now costs me eight rupees a piece.Can you believe that? Over the night lemon’s price has gone up. Now for ten lemons I have to pay eighty rupees, whereas, if the price had not changed,then I would have been able to buy twenty four lemons with it.
I had intended to buy lemons to make lemon sherbet with it.With that plan going for a toss,I bought ten frooti packs instead,costing me a hundred bucks.
Hope you don’t find lemon so costly, in this scintillating summer.
Loam
Have you ever heard of loam?It is a type of soil used in gardening. Its a bit loose and wet type of soil.Flowery plants grow well in loam. Top layers of large patches in a garden are filled with loam. It needs to be moisturized regularly and the soil needs overturned and mixed manually, so that the air flows through the soil.Gardeners add manures and nurtures the soil like mothers, for the plants to come out and flourish and blossom.The blossoming flowers soothe our eyes and give us relief. Using loam as a soil, often gives good results in regard to gardening.
Summer Vacation
Yeah! Yes, the summer vacation has finally arrived. I had been tired of waiting and waiting for it, but it didn’t seem to arrive.Now that it has arrived, it is a crime to waste even a single of minute.So being said, the whole period of summer vacation cannot be successfully spend as my dear friend, Mr.Sun is playing spoilsport. Till five in the evening the sun dances on one’s head in such a way, that man can neither dance nor think about it. I love my summer vacations because during these days, my mother prepares good cool salads and most importantly she prepares various deserts and sherbets at home.I love to eat mango pudding.I spend my time reading books,playing games, blogging,watching on TV and sleeping.We had no vacation planned, so we are staying put at home, but most of the people have gone out of town. Going out of town for the whole period of summer vacation is a new trend these days. In the old days, people used to go out for different classes,on long walks,on serene drives, to watch good movies,etc.Now the situation has completely changed. People spend a lot of time in their own hometowns and lot of them do visit other tourist places as well, but they can’t enjoy there much. What is the meaning of visiting a place, if you can’t tour around in that place properly, till four or five in the evening, due to the blazing sun. On the happier side, mangoes have arrived, but their prices are sky high.But what to do? Mangoes are after all mangoes. I do hope that you all have eaten mangoes in this summer and please cherish all of it’s varieties.

Loopy Writing
A new type of writing skills, which many students are practicing is loopy writing. Writing anything in a loopy style is over the head cursive writing. Sometimes it can be so tedious, that it beats a doctor’s handwriting also. Writing in words in a loopy manner costs students a lot of marks in “Board Examinations”, as most of the examiners and moderators are people with spectacles. Words like “halt” read “hall” and “free” reads “tree”. Even people with spectacles can’t make heads or tails of it.Therefore,it is always better to leave loopy writing and write in moderate cursive writing.
