The Beautiful Primrose.

The beautiful primrose,

Is what we have bought.

Ma and me, have arranged it in our drawing room,

And they look resplendent.

These flowers are called “Shiuli” in Bengali,

My maternal grandmother liked them a lot.

She used to collect them from her garden everyday,

And used to arrange it in such a way,

Which looked billion times beautiful than what is known as art these turbulent and economic days.

The beautiful primrose looks very happy to be in our house.,

And we have seen it after many days.

The happiness is unlimited and unboundful for us,

As it our favourite flower,

Ask us any day.

Mountain.

A mountain glorifies my mind,

But the steep slope which runs down it,

Scares the human kind.

So, they build a curvy mountain road,

Which passed through a scenic route,

Like a ballerina dancing across.

The spiral road,

Was smooth enough.

Yet, it was bumpy.

The mountain itself was splendid,

That was all awe.

Just like a rose,

Which inspires you,

Takes away your breath.

In the same way,

Did the mountain,

But in good faith.

The mountain trail ahead of us.

In its glory,

Where the Sun just sets.

Now we will reach home safely,

As the journey has come to an end.

We take a look back at the mountain,

And see it standing like a great soldier.

It was, it were and it will be.

Much same as my God the beloved.

Who always is, was and will be.

A Cup Of Tea.

A cup of tea,

Made my day.

It became bright and wonderful.

All seemed more glowing and beautiful,

But Mr.Sleep, won’t go back to bed.

He came knocking.

I drank the whole cup of tea,

And Mr.Sleep vanished.

The tea had ginger and clive in it,

And Ma had made it beautifully.

Oh! The beautiful cup of tea,

Surely made our day,

A lot more great and free.

Grass Valley.

A Grass valley,

With lush greeneries,

Come frequently in my dreams.

The cows,

The sheep,

The goats,

All eat their share there,

And roam around.

The sun glistens brightly upon the morning dew.

And the whole valley lights up.

One day we will surely visit the valley,

With my friends in tow,

There we shall have a lot of fun,

And whoever wins,

Will have to give a big feast and treat to all.

Just Hero.

Your lovely smile and bow,

Remind me of my past.

You called me friend and hero.

I could make everything.

I could make everything just.

You loved the apples and nuts.

The roses, chocolates and pumpkin crusts.

You asked me to tell you stories,

Of ships, seas, grass valleys and fairies.

After four long years,

You have grown up as a princess.

I came to your town,

You look below from your balcony,

And with childhood zeal,

You shouted-“You my friend, my hero”.
