Big flowers,
Kept in a loft,
Would fill,
The whole place with beautiful smell.
Now they are replaced with grand roses
In a four potted plants
And a gardener has been arranged for,
To look after them.

The Tea Got Cold.
Few days back, early in the morning, the morning tea was prepared. In the meanwhile the newspaperwala left the newspaper at the basement. So, I had to go down to get it.
By that time, tea was already served.
When I came back home, the tea was already cold.
Later on Ma made me a fresh cup of tea.

Batsman’s Six.
Batting down the order,at number seven position, a batsman came in to bat just two overs before the innings was to end.
The first two balls were dot balls.
The next ball was a two.
The fourth and the fifth balls were fours.
The sixth ball was a single.
He got the strike.Again the first two balls were dud.
But, the last four balls made the bowler cry.
The four balls were hit for sixes but the last ball smashed into the commentators box,
Befuddling the commentators and one of them decided to leave the commentator’s job then and there.
The batsman was awarded 1000$ for being the maximum six hitter.

Four Friends Together.
Four ladies who were friends together went to buy plants for their household.
Soon they reached a plant and decorations shop.
After a lot of selection,
They each fixed on a plant each.
As usual they felt thirsty,
And had soft drinks with chips and fries,
At a restaurant.
After that they proceded to do some shopping
And ended up watching a movie.
But the thing was,
After the mini refreshments,
They all forgot about the plants.
When they reached their cars-“They all exclaimed Oh! my God! Our plants!”
The plants could hardly exclaim-“Oh!You all remembered!.”
They were feeling left alone. Whether you roam about in a mall or a paradise,
What do the plants care for?
As long as they get sunshine and their daily dose of water.
