A Hat.

A hat,

Maroon in colour

And made of cotton,

Is lying in the front window of a shop.

It costs about Rupees two hundred.

The hat has a logo of an aeroplane and of a cartoon character.

I asked the shopkeeper to pack it for me.

He did so and said that for the next three days twenty five percent discount would be applicable on all products, so the hat would cost Rupees one hundred and fifty.

I was overjoyed and bought a bag for my mother.

Adios!

It Ain’t Over Till The Fat Lady Sings.

A competition means wrestling of egoes,

Of might

And of trophies and cash prize.

So until and unless the whole competition is over one can say that “it ain’t over till the last lady sings”.

Who knows what the last opponent might bring in?

We must wait till the end and any pre celebration of victory must be held as an aspiration close to the heart.

Adios!
