A Blue Cap And A Bird.

A blue cap nearly four years old,

Was the best friend of its owner.

The owner was named Lilu.

Lilu loved his cap and seldom left it alone.

One day a bird noticed the cap on Lilu’s head and liked it immediately.

The bird followed Lilu home and took a swig at it.

Lilu swooshed the bird away and the next day as he was about to go out, he saw the same bird waiting at his doorstep.

Lilu became cautious and instead if wearing the blue one, he wore a yellow cap.

The bird tried but couldn’t make up his mind on it.

The blue cap was its dream and it would remain to be.

Few days later the bird found a blue cap lying on the street and flew away with it.

But as much as it would try the cap would not fit his head.

The bird kept the cap neat and clean in its nest.

One day it managed to wear it.Since that day

it has been wearing the cap daily.

My Journey In Esplanade Via A Tram.

One fine afternoon,

I had a wonderful tram journey.

The tram went from my school to Esplanade and there were only two stops in between.

I had a wonderful cone ice cream and a not a single drop had fallen on my scholl dress.

Ma was very happy that my school dress had not become spoilt.

As we were walking on the esplanade street,

We saw the jhalmuriwala and bought two small packets of jhalmuri.

We saw a book seller selling writing notebooks.

Ma asked him-“How much is the cost of four books?”

He replied-“Eighty rupees.”

Ma said-“That’s very high.”

The bookseller was about to say something when the buses started arriving for the forward journey.

We left the hagging bookseller their and got onto a bus which was empty.

But luckily the bus would be waiting for fifteen minutes.

So, we started munching the jhalmuris.

You folks already know that deep down we love jhalmuri more than anything else.

As I was eating the jhalmuris I saw a beautiful and astonishing sight.

Ma too was eating the jhalmuri from the small packet like a little child and Ma had a very happy face.

I kept looking at her again and again.Ma was happy and in a world where little children always are.

Her happiness was like that of a small girl.

That’s all and

My Red Note Book.

My red note book,

Contains my writings of days of the past,

Of the time present.

It contains my emotions,

My laughter,

My days when we used to be more livelier

It takes me back to the time when God carried me in his arms

And when my maternal grandmother was alive.

My red notebook is my journey into the life of Ma, Baba and me.

It is a treasure but unlike others it doesn’t leave a trail.

Butterfly Pigmentation.

Pigmentation in butterflies is a beautiful feature.

The pigmentation happens as an occurance to the daily life of the buttetfles.

Their method of living encompasses the pigmentation and

When time comes the pigmentations work as a way of signalling.

They signal for warning,

For help,

For attracting their mates.

We see various colours and designs on the butterflies and become surprised, happy and excited to see them.

They too affect our lives.

As children most of us have been attracted by butterflies.

A butterfly on a plant would give us extreme happiness and to look at its colour would be the main inspiration behind it.

Now few collect butterflies,

Few keep them as souveneirs.

Few show them to various societies and

Few catch butterflies for it is their profession.

Butterflies look good on plants.

They teach us about colours and

Most of all they give us happiness.

Ah! The Monotony.

Ah! The monotony,

Has made the day green and

Lights up the night sky.

It has taken a pledge not to evolve,

To dredge on and on,

To make the humanity suffer.

But it doesn’t know the human kind,

Nor does it know God.

God gives chances after chances and

Humanity takes the least of it.

But in breaking the monotony,

Many are there who are expert in it.

Monotony loses the game sorely,

But surfaces again when things get boring.

Overall it is more boring and longer than a test match.
